Tuesday's class

Creativity was abuzz yesterday when I popped in to the classroom to see what was being made. Beautiful things happen when like minded people gather to sew, and it's inspiring to see so many different things being worked on. There were big blossomy flowers raw edge appliquéd onto spots in Marg's rendition of the Homespun block of the month that recently finished. She had made the original, then made another in her own take on the popular project. Next is Julie's project from the previous Margaret Sampson George class which she is busily stitching and collating to continue in the next Margaret Sampson George class coming up in March. Then there is Helen's gorgeous Japanese quilt, and also a cute martian and monster quilt for young Zachary that was quilted by Patchwork on Parade and is just needing the binding sewn. This is only four examples from a class of around twelve, each person making their own ideas come to the fore. It makes you want to get on and sew doesn't it?
