Happy Sunday!

I thought I'd take the opportunity to show you a quilt that Prue has been working on and has almost finished. This quilt began in a class held by Margaret Sampson-George, and it was a class on how to draft hexagons and how to create beautiful shapes, colours, and patterns within those hexagons. From there Prue fussy cut clam shell like borders so that they lined up perfectly, then created a final border that includes hexagon diamonds and cornerstones with crowns. This final border is edged in triangles and half circles and finally finished with red spot binding. It has been a fabulous work in progress and it looks beautiful.
