Margaret Sampson George Workshop

The lovely and always inspiring Margaret Sampson George is coming back to Hettie's Patch to teach another weekend workshop. Hooray! There is no set plan as such, and if there was, there is always room to move. For those of you who have not seen her work before, I've included some pictures from her previous classes at the shop. These are detailed views of some of her quilt tops. In her classes she will explain the way she chooses colour and pattern, and how to decide between organic and geometric shapes, and how they can enhance each other and your design. She has some beautiful shapes to share and a wealth of knowledge in colour and design, and of course stitching! This is a class where you can sit and ponder, cut and sort, and place (and replace) to your heart's content. People continue to return to her classes because there is always something new to learn, and inspiration is always in the next new quilt top (or any of them to be honest). Her workshop will be held on Saturday March 12th and on Sunday March 13th. Please contact the shop for booking details (08 8346 0548). If you were planning to spend this particular long weekend in Adelaide, you may as well come over to Hettie's Patch and spend it with us. We would love to see you!
