An ideas class with Margaret Sampson-George next weekend

Margaret Sampson-George is teaching at Hettie's next weekend (Sat 12th & Sun 13th March), and there are a couple of spots available, so if you don't have any previous plans we would love you to join us. Marg's classes include a mountain of ideas and also a colour theory that she explains so well. She is happy for you to pick up from one of her previous classes or to start a new project. She has many many ideas and she is happy to help you with yours. Bring your favourite fabrics from your stash and she will explain how they fit and why they will fit into your work. Most of Marg's quilts have appliqué and paper piecing, so if you have favourite threads and needles, be sure to pack them along with your mats, rulers, and rotary cutters. Below I've included some photos of works in progress and a detail of a finished quilt top. These pieces are a process. Believe me, I know, I've been working on one for a while now, and it is not dissimilar to painting a picture. You add one thing, then add another, and another, and so on. I will finish mine one day, but for now, I just have a few more things to add.
