There is a tiny little shop on rue des Moulins in Paris called Annie Bouquet. She has the most beautiful array of hand painted tapestries in kits and a selection of Maison Sajou thread cards and scissors and so on. Last year, I bought a heart tapestry kit and for the last eight months it has had a couple of stitches added every now and then. Well, I've finished said tapestry, and I'm feeling very content and slightly reminiscent. In the shop she had her hearts made into little heart cushions with a cord at the top to hang them from. I think I'll keep mine square though, with it's provenance painted on to remind me of this lovely colourful place that we accidentally stumbled across.
