The Judy Newman workshop is in full swing!

'I knew who I was this morning, but I've changed a few times since then' is stitched onto Judy Newman's 'Liberty Alice' quilt top. I think that's how a lot of people feel when they are in the thick of the weekend workshop. When you have a fabulous teacher to guide you, where you though you would go, isn't always where you end up! Judy's 'Liberty Alice' quilt and 'Sugar Plum' quilt are adorning our design walls as the ladies stitch busily, which enables everyone to be inspired. The 'French Medallion' quilt has been started by a few people and I wanted to take the opportunity to show you how variable the quilt can be depending on which fabrics take your fancy. I think the original has a provincial look, while Helen has chosen clearer, brighter fabrics, and Maryanne has chosen the pretty pink and blues. I can't wait to see what is in store tomorrow. Meanwhile I am going to gaze at this 'Liberty Alice' quilt for a while longer. It is lovely.
