The new Homespun magazine has arrived, and with it the second pattern for the block of the month that began last month. We have kits for the whole quilt top available in the shop, and few of last month's magazines to start you off.
This is our fabulous Easter Egg Bucket (designed by Helen), which we've made up in 'Indian Summer' by Art Gallery Fabrics. This is a great size 'bucket' for Easter Eggs, and if you make it in an adorable fabric, the kids can use it all year round. How cute is that bears face? Love it!
We've made our lovely little Dilly Bag in the latest Tilda fabrics. The pattern is easy to follow, and we have kits made up in store.
Pencil rolls have been around for a while, and for good reason. Little children love to match the pencils to the fabric slots, and slide them safely into place. Each strip of fabric was chosen for each pencil in the pack of twelve. The kit has two pieces of linen and either one can be used as the outside fabric, while the other is used for the inside pocket. The ribbon used in the sample shown is vintage French hat ribbon, and is available in the shop, but has not been included in this kit (as it is $12/m). Instead we've included navy tape in some kits, and lavender tape in others. Easy for little fingers to tie in a bow, or a knot. The pattern is included, is easy to follow, and if you have any queries, please contact the shop. The kit contains all fabrics, tape, pencils, and a pattern, and is $24.95.
